Neck Exercises can Relieve Tension

For such neck exercises try to hold your neck in that position for a period of 10 seconds. Initially you may find you can’t move your neck from side to side or back and forth freely.
Only do it to the extent that you can do without causing pain. As you do these exercises more frequently you will find your flexibility improves. Continue to challenge yourself but don’t expect huge changes to occur overnight. It can be a good idea to document your progress though.
If you have been in an accident with a neck injury specific types of care may need to be followed. As you heal your doctor will likely ask you to engage in various types of neck exercises. You may be asked to perform them two or three times a day. The goal is to make those muscles strong again. Failure to follow the doctor’s orders may result in you having limited mobility in this area.
